Merit has the ability to handle all phases of education construction projects. We have constructed large university research and classroom facilities, new school construction, small school additions and remodels of all sizes and shapes. We have been involved in several IT upgrades in elementary through university level buildings.
Retail
We are very skilled at retail projects. Merit has built entire shopping centers including the tenant improvement of the large box stores. We have done entire malls from the shell to the parking lot lighting. Merit has performed remodels of existing retail stores, transformed closed stores for new tenants and performed all facets of maintenance for our retail customers.
Hospitality
Merit Electric has a large portfolio of projects in the hospitality market. We have worked on several casinos, hotels and restaurants. Merit has built casinos from the ground up as well as worked on remodels and additions. We have built several hotels including tower rooms and convention space. We have worked extensively at airports including high security areas, main terminal work, airport retail, baggage claim, runway and taxiway lighting. HealthCare/Hospitals
Merit Electric is very familiar with the electrical installations for hospital and healthcare facilities. Our project managers and supervisors have several years of experience in this type of construction and understand the importance of performing clean, quality and thorough work on these type of installations. We have constructed several clinics, doctor’s offices, dental buildings, urgent care, long term care communities and hospitals.
